About Engineering
The Department of Public Works (DPW) Engineering division provides transportation and construction engineering services to the citizens of Indianapolis by planning, developing and constructing capital improvement projects to improve the safety and traffic flow along Indianapolis roadways.
In addition, this division provides environmental engineering services for all facets of wastewater infrastructure projects that improve water quality and reduce the risk to human health and the environment by providing an efficient and effective wastewater and stormwater management system.
