Customer Service is a section within the Department of Public Works (DPW) Division of Policy and Planning. Customer Service acts as the liaison between citizens and the other sections within DPW. When citizens initiate complaints in the Mayor's Action Center (MAC), DPW Customer Service responds by physically inspecting the problem addresses and coordinating with the other DPW sections to get the work done.
The Customer Service staff includes an administrator, a supervisor, a GIS analyst, township coordinators, dispatchers, and a support staff who keeps the office running.
