This station was formerly Washington Township FD Station # 221. On January 1, 2007 the Washington Township FD merged with the Indianapolis Fire Department and this station became Indianapolis FD Station # 21. Currently, Engine # 21, Ladder # 21, Haz-Mat # 21
and Ambulance # 21 respond from here.
