Rick Turner - Reserve Coordinator
Rick served 29 years combined military service, retiring from the U.S. Army Reserves (Army Corps of Engineers) as a Major in September, 2002. Currently he works at Raytheon Technical Services as a Senior Applications Developer for the Manufacturing and Repair Organization. He holds a Technician level Amateur Radio License.
Rick has been a Reserve Coordinator with the Emergency Management Agency since 2000.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University. He has completed several certificates of training to include: Introduction to Disaster Operations, Emergency Preparedness (IS-2), Hazardous Materials - A Citizen's Orientation (IS-5), A Citizen's Guide to Disaster Assistance (IS-7), Role of Voluntary Agencies in Emergency Management (IS-288), Emergency Response to Terrorism, Search and Rescue, Hazardous Material Training, WMD Technical Emergency Response Training, Millennium Mask Maintenance Technician Course, Andros Robot Operations and Maintenance, Marion County Sheriff Citizens Academy, and the Indianapolis Police Department Citizens Academy.
