Mike Palmer, Reserve Coordinator
... served 24 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Signal Corps Master Sergeant in 2002. Currently he works for the Federal Government as a Property Management Building Management Specialist in charge of writing specifications for several types of contracts. He holds an Advanced Class Ham Radio license and has been the ARRL Emergency Coordinator for the county since 2001. He is a member of Indiana Task Force 1 Urban Search & Rescue Group.
Mr. Palmer holds an Associates Degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University. He has completed many certificates of training: Emergency Program Manager, Basic ICP, Community Disaster, Emergency Preparedness, NIMS 700 Incident Management System, WMD Emergency Response, Emergency Response to Terrorism, and Emergency Communications Courses levels I & II.
