Debbi Fletcher - Coordinator
Debbi comes to EMA from the Department of Metropolitan Development where she served as the Mayor's Neighborhood Liaison for Decatur and Franklin Townships. In that capacity, she served as a connection between city government services and neighborhoods, community groups and businesses. Prior to that position, Debbi served as the Community Resource Coordinator fro the Indianapolis Police Department's North District. While there, she lead community outreach efforts focused on building stronger relationships between Indianapolis residents. She also planned and coordinated numerous community events, set up neighborhood crime watch clubs and advised community groups on topics such as safety and crime prevention.
Debbi attended IUPUI, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in 2002. She is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Public Affairs, also from IUPUI.
Debbi serves as the Volunteer Coordinator and Red Cross Liaison for EMA. She is responsible for community outreach and education and works with neighborhood groups and residents on Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Awareness.
