Website addition hopes to improve community perceptions and understanding

INDIANAPOLIS – In an effort to improve services as well as identify the community’s perceptions, attitudes and understandings of the city animal shelter, Indianapolis Animal Care & Control has developed a website survey.

“The purpose of the website survey is to meter the overall satisfaction of Indianapolis residents with the shelter. In addition, we hope the survey will help us to better understand the public’s knowledge of Indianapolis Animal Care & Control so we can better serve the community,” said Administrator Jim Garrard.

The website survey will also be used to gauge the success of different marketing campaigns as well as solicit program ideas in which the community may be interested.

The website survey is posted on Animal Care & Control’s website at www.indygov.org/accd. The survey is also located on the homepage of the official website for the City of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana at www.indygov.org.

Over the last year, Indianapolis Animal Care & Control has greatly enhanced their website to give the public a more comprehensive view of the shelter and animal welfare issues in Indianapolis with the addition of the following links:
