INDIANAPOLIS – Public Safety Director Robert Turner and Administrator Jim Garrard announce that effective September 14, 2002, Indianapolis Animal Care & Control will change its hours. The new hours will be:
“We’ve decided to expand our business hours to better serve the community,” said Administrator Jim Garrard. “The new hours will make the shelter accessible to more people.”
Previous hours during the week, excluding Wednesday, were 9a.m. - 5p.m.
Indianapolis Animal Care & Control feels that the extended hours will assist with adoptions, lost and found pets and increase the general awareness of the shelter.
