YOUTH SPORTS GUIDELINES
We want to ensure every child has a positive, rewarding experience.  That's why Indy Parks developed the Youth Sports Council, a committee of Indy Parks and Recreation staff, has developed  youth sports policies and procedures for participants, parents, and coaches. The Council's goal is to ensure that Indianapolis youth not only have fun when they play sports, but do so in a safe environment. To achieve this, all participants, parents and coaches must follow Indy Parks' Youth Sports guidelines for sportsman-like conduct (see above).  We want to ensure every child has a positive, rewarding experience.

Click on Youth Sports Manual above.

Youth sport programs organized by Indy Parks and Recreation and youth sports programs organized by partnering organizations are responsible to adhering to the guidelines.

Indy Parks and Recreation currently offers 34 youth sports activities and programs. In addition, 40 youth organizations implement their own youth sports programs on Indy Parks properties.
