Description
Sahm Park, formerly known as Northeastway, was first developed as a city park in 1963. Since then it has undergone numerous improvements and additions to the park and amenities. With over 85 acres of land there is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the park. 

The central focal point of the park has always been the aquatic center. The old pool was demolished in 1998 and in 1999 the current aquatic center was opened. In 2010 a new slide was added as well as new spray features.

At the front of the park is an 18 hole Disc Golf course. Never tried disc golf? Come on out and bring your friends. Disc Golf is great fun for all ages.

Of course there is also the 18 hole golf course and driving range at Sahm Park. This course offers an enjoyable experience for all ages and abilities.

There are 3 picnic shelter and a pavilion available to host your next celebration or family reunion. Tennis courts, sand volleyball and basketball courts offer many recreational opportunities.

FAQ's/TIPS
What amenities are included with my shelter rental?
The Corporate Shelter has an overhead shelter with picnic tables, access to an electrical outlet, an outdoor water spigot and restrooms.  Shelters #1, #2 and #3 have an overhead shelter and picnic tables.  The picnic knoll only includes the designated tables, it does not have overhead shelter. 

Are there any picnic tables other than those associated with the shelters?
Yes, there are a few tables for small groups between the shelters that are first come, first served.
