March 27 through April 3
Spring Bulb Show
Enjoy the colors of spring at the Garfield Park Conservatory! 
2505 Conservatory Drive
The show is open to the public from 10AM-5PM daily.  Admission for this special event is $3 for adults, $2 for youth and seniors, or $5 for the family. 

The entire bulb show collection will be for sale to the public beginning April 4 at 10AM.  Prices will vary and plants will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

April 18 & 19
Orchid Show
On April 18 and 19, the Garfield Park Conservatory
will be alive with beautiful, blooming orchids! 
Central Indiana Orchid Society will present its annual Orchid Show, displaying along with other societies from across the Midwest orchid exhibits throughout the Conservatory.  
Orchid vendors also will have a variety of plants for sale. 
Society members will be on hand to answer questions. 
The show will be open to the public from 10AM-5PM on Saturday, April 18  and Sunday, April 19.  Admission to this event is free. 

 

April 25
African Violet Show
On Saturday, April 25 from 10AM-5PM, the Indy African Violet Society
will present its annual show featuring a variety of these
blooming house plants at the Garfield Park Conservatory. 
Society members will also be available to answer questions.  Admission to the show is free.   

Tropical Trees
 Children ages 8-14 are invited to explore the
Garfield Park Conservatory and learn about its trees. 
This program will be from 2-3PM on Saturday, April 25 and is $3 per child.

DESCRIPTION
The Sunken Garden and Conservatory is located within the 136 acre Garfield Park, on Indianapolis' near south side. The facility is open to the public and offers programs for children, adults, and families. 

 

The Conservatory features special exhibits throughout the year, including its most famous Holiday Poinsettia Show!  Guided tours and environmental education field trips are also available! 

 

The Sunken Garden blooms with spring, summer and fall displays.  It is also a popular location for spring and summer weddings.  For more information on weddings call (317) 327-7580.     

   

If you love plants and flowers, we're always looking for volunteers! Call the conservatory for additional information.
