Prosecutor

POSITION:  Intake Paralegal

SALARY: $25,000.00

JOB NUMBER: 2006-076

POSITION SUMMARY:  Applicant will provide courteous and efficient service to both custodial and non-custodial parents through interviews, telephone contact, and case processing.  Will assist the Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys and other office staff in the establishment, modification, and enforcement of child support pursuant to Federal and State Title IV-D laws. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  High School diploma/GED required.   Paralegal Certificate, College degree, and/or related experience are preferred.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must posses ability to efficiently process information and utilize problem-solving skills.  Time management a plus.  Must have ability to manage large caseload and meet deadlines.  Excellent attendance record.  Must be able to work with diverse group of people.  Must have ability to manage a large caseload and meet weekly deadlines. 

TESTING REQUIRED: Typing Test (20 wpm.), Writing Sample




POSITION:  Litigation Paralegal

SALARY: $25,000.00

JOB NUMBER: 2006-075

POSITION SUMMARY:  Applicant will assist the Deputy Prosecuting Attorneys and other office staff in the establishment, modification, and enforcement of child support pursuant to Federal and State Title IV-D laws.  The paralegal is responsible for the preparation of cases for court and the completion of dispositions after the court session.  A courteous and efficient service to both custodial and non-custodial parents is to be provided. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  High School diploma/GED required.   Paralegal Certificate, College degree, and/or related experience are preferred.  Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Must posses ability to efficiently process information and utilize problem-solving skills.  Time management a plus.  Must have ability to manage large caseload and meet deadlines.  Excellent attendance record.  Must be able to work with diverse group of people as well as public in general and maintain a professional public image and demeanor. 

TESTING REQURIED: Must be able to type 20 wpm.
