POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for providing supervisory oversight to the Guardian Home staff and operations during scheduled shift. Supervises subordinates in providing requisite care; monitors behavior of children throughout shift; secures the facility/grounds to assure resident and staff safety; staffs Front Desk; greets and assists visitors; answers incoming phone calls; processes admissions and releases of residents. Performs other related administrative support functions as needed. |

QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Human Services Field with Administrative emphasis and two (2) years of previous administrative/supervisory work experience emphasizing responsibility for the care of others (children and/or adults) within a facility setting or High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of previously stated experience. Must be able to communicate effectively in oral or written format. Knowledge and minor skill in use of computer basic programs preferred. Must be able to complete First Aide/CPR training, and 20 hours a year of continuing education training related to IN State Licensing procedures of a child care agency. |

POSITION SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, monitors children to assure appropriate behavior/safety and provide a stable environment for the residents of the Guardian Home. Instructs children in personal hygiene care and interpersonal relationship skills, assists children in coping with emotional distress, serves as a liaison between the child and assigned welfare/court personnel, prepares children for school and participates in dorm cleaning activities. |

QUALIFICATIONS: A copy of your high school diploma or GED is required to apply for this job. Requires 6 months of previous work experiences emphasizing extensive interaction with responsibility for the care of others (children and/or general public) within an institutional facility. Applicants must also demonstrate the ability to complete and in-house training program. |
