Lawrence Township Neighborhood Liaison
Rylan Hall
Rylan Hall has worked in city government for the past four years, most recently serving as the Unsafe Building Program Manager in the Department of Metropolitan Development. In this capacity, Rylan was part of a team that worked on the overhaul of the abandoned housing strategy in Indianapolis. The team took advantage of law changes by the Indiana legislature that included new methods to repair abandoned houses for economic development and techniques to rehabilitate properties by shortening the tax sale process.
From 2004 – 2005 he worked in the former Mayor Peterson's Office as Deputy Director of Constituent Services. In this role, Rylan provided support and assistance to individuals and neighborhood groups on behalf of the Mayor. This work provided an in depth knowledge of city services and forged relationships with those in all areas of city government; skills essential for serving constituents in Wayne Township.
Hall's other professional experience includes work during the 2003 and 2004 Indiana legislative sessions with both Bose Treacy Associates and the Indiana Senate.
Rylan earned a bachelor's degree in Public Management from Indiana University, and he is working toward a master's degree from Indiana University in philanthropy and economics.
