After the docketing of a certificate of appropriateness application, it is assigned to an architectural reviewer. The architectural reviewer works with other city staff, the applicant, neighborhood groups, and remonstrators, until the public hearing process is completed. Approximately seven days prior to the public hearing, the reviewer will publish a staff report, with staff's recommendations for approval, denial, or for other action to be taken.  Staff reports are typically only prepared for IHPC Hearings. 

Please note the agendas and staff reports are only prepared for Commission hearings.  Public notices only list new cases and do not include continued cases for which notice has already been given.  Please refer to the Agenda for a complete listing of the cases that will be heard at an IHPC hearing.  Staff reports and agendas are posted to this web site by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday before each Commission hearing.
