The Division of Planning offers statistics and demographic information about Indianapolis-Marion County, surrounding counties and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
Statistics include:

- Census data, including historical population changes, tract and block group maps, census tract location, and census maps of the MSA.
- Demographic profiles from the Census Bureau for Indianapolis, the Indianapolis MSA, counties in the MSA, townships in the MSA, and cities and towns in the MSA.
