The Division of Compliance is responsible for enforcing land use requirements and promoting responsible development through inspections and issuance of permits.
The functions of the division include licensing persons and business organizations engaged in construction activity, issuing various types of permits, conducting various types of inspections and taking other appropriate actions for the purpose of securing safe construction and assuring proper maintenance of existing structures.
