A zoning history letter consists of a letter including, in addition to a statement of current zoning district status, research of zoning and variance petitions, as well as permit history, pertaining to the property.

To receive a zoning history letter, submit a request in writing and a check for $80.00, made payable to the City of Indianapolis. Additional fees will be assessed for research for a zoning history letter for $40.00 per quarter hour after the first half-hour of research.
