A zoning classification letter consists of a letter stating the zoning district of the property as shown on the most current zoning base maps. A zoning classification does not include any information on possible variance or commitments also on the site.

To receive a zoning classification letter, submit a request in writing and a check for $80.00, made payable to the City of Indianapolis, to the Permits Section, 604 N Sherman Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46201.
