Licensed Contractors
Please read information below these choices if this is your first time to use a Contractor Licensing List.
The following contractor licensing lists, updated as of May 14, 2007, are based on the expiration date of the license/listing/registration. Expiration dates will be as follows:
General Contractor listings will expire 12/31/08.
Electrical, Heating and Cooling, and Wrecking Licenses will expire 12/31/07.
Plumbing registrations will expire 12/31/07.
Although information on these contractors is updated daily in our office, the information here will only be updated periodically. New contractors register daily. Before hiring a contractor, you should phone (317) 327-8700 to verify that the general liability insurance coverage, surety bond, and workman's compensation coverage or waiver is current.
If you cannot locate a contractor on the list, you may phone (317) 327-8700 for assistance.
The Consolidated City of Indianapolis does not include the following excluded cities. Licensing in these areas is the responsibility of that City. If you reside in one of these Cities, please check with that City to determine if the contractor is licensed.
