Statements of Economic Interest
The Indianapolis/Marion County Code of Ethics is intended to foster public confidence in the service of public officials. All City-County elected and appointed officials and certain City-County employees are required to complete and submit a Statement of Economic Interest to the Indianapolis-Marion County Board of Ethics prior to May 1 of each year. The Statement of Economic Interest provides for the disclosure of any economic interests of an official or employee of City-County government that may have any influence on official business of any department or agency.
The Indianapolis-Marion County Board of Ethics reviews every form submitted. Statements of Economic Interest are public records, and are disclosable upon request.
