Where do I go to pay a parking ticket? You can pay your parking tickets at the auto desk, located in the east wing (Police Wing) of the City County Building, 200 E. Washington Street. Please have your ticket or ticket number in hand. If you do not have it, someone can look it up for you, but the process will take longer.
During what hours can I pay a parking ticket? 24 hours, 7 days a week at the auto desk, or online at www.indygov.org/corp_counsel/parking.
How do I dispute a parking ticket? You can dispute a parking ticket at the auto desk within seven days of the date the ticket was issued.
What is the most commonly issued parking ticket? Expired meters.
How do I report a malfunctioning or broken parking meter? Please report any malfunctioning or broken parking meters by calling 317-327-5255.
Who do I contact if my car is towed? Call the Indianapolis Police Department (IPD) at the auto desk, IPD will be able to direct you.
What is the difference between a parking ticket and a traffic ticket? Parking tickets are issued to the license plate on the car. A traffic ticket is issued to the driver of the vehicle.
Who do I contact about an abandoned vehicle? Please report any abandoned vehicles by calling the Mayor's Action Center (MAC) at 317-327-4622.

How often do I have to have my pet vaccinated against rabies? Antirabies vaccinations required for dogs and cats. Each dog and cat over the age of 3 months that is kept in the city shall have been vaccinated against rabies by a veterinarian within the proceeding 365 days.
