POSITION SUMMARY: Position is responsible for the management of engineering projects or assignments in the field of water resources management. This includes all aspects of public water supply systems, asset management, capital planning, engineering design, project and construction management, business development and issues relating to operations and maintenance. |

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required. Engineering experience in water resources utility or related field with six (6) years minimum experience. Knowledge of engineering theory and practice related to planning, design, construction and operations of water facilities, project management, water resources, engineering economics and utility operations. Knowledge of US regulations (environmental), legislation, new technology and current treads impacting the water industry. Sound business acumen and judgment. Knowledge of Department of Water Works contract operations, procedures and policies. Understanding Department of Water Works management theories practices and treads. Indiana Professional Engineering (PE) license is required. Ability to work multiple projects or assignments with minimum direction. Verbal, written and interpersonal skills (ability to deal effectively and maintain cooperative working relationships with senior management and key stakeholders). Strong quantitative, analytical and financial skills, plus attention to details. |
