Driveway permits are required for commercial driveways to be connected to streets which have been or are proposed to be accepted by the City of Indianapolis. Commercial driveways and their acceleration and deceleration lanes shall be constructed in accordance with the Department of Public Works Standards for Street and Bridge Design & Construction. A commercial driveway application must be accompanied by a set of certified engineering plans.
