Comcast sponsored the Bands of America National Competition at the RCA Dome November 11, and the downtown Fireworks Show held the night before the competition.

Comcast and Romance Classics presented a $500 check to Shawn Tabor, founder of the People's Burn Foundation, during the Indianapolis Star's Women's Expo November 12 at the Convention Center. Shawn was the winner of our local "Cool Women" promotion, recognizing ordinary women who lead extraordinary lives. Former Miss America and Hollywood Celebrity Mary Ann Mobley presented the award in behalf of Comcast and Romance Classics.

On November 16, Comcast won an award from the Indiana Cable Telecommunications Association recognizing our "Newsmakers" program as the state's best cable-produced Community Affairs Series.
