Community Events & Sponsorships

Comcast was the media sponsor of Gleaners Food Bank's "Good Vibrations" fundraiser August 12 at the Indianapolis Colts Pavilion. Rock & Roll icon Fabian was the emcee of the event.

Sunday, August 13 was "Comcast Day" at the Indiana State Fair. Comcast partnered with MTV to bring the network's "Choose or Lose" tent to the fair and registered 116 Hoosiers to vote in time for the November election.

Comcast hosted the C-SPAN Bus' visit to North Central High School on August 14. Over 100 teachers and administrators from the school toured the bus, learning about the network and its coverage of federal politics.

On August 15, Comcast hosted HBO Family Bus' stop at the Indiana State Fair. HBO Family used the bus to honor two local filmmakers under the age of 16. Both of the kids will have films featured on HBO Family later this year.
