  • Comcast sponsored a table at the Annual NAACP Gala, August 9 at the Murat Theatre.

  • Comcast and the Learning Channel awarded a $1000 scholarship to Connor Trumble, a 3rd grader at St. Barnabas School in Perry Township.  Conner was the winner of our "Everyday Heroes" promotion, which encouraged students and teachers to creatively recognize heroes in their everyday lives.  Conner's teacher was awarded a certificate enabling her to send the student of her choice to any educational camp during the summer of 2000.

  • Comcast sponsored Indiana Mental Health Association dinner September 14 at the Roof Ballroom.

  • Comcast was the presenting sponsor of the 21st Annual Dick Lugar Run & Walk, held September 18 on the Butler University Campus.  This was Comcast's 3rd consecutive year as the top sponsor of that event.

  • Comcast was a sponsor of FIESTA, a Hispanic Culture Festival held September 18 on American Legion Mall.
