Community Events & Sponsorships

Comcast was a sponsor of the Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce's "Hob Nob: An Election Showcase" held October 4 at the Indiana Historical Society. The evening featured candidates for Mayor and City-County Council giving "stump" speeches and mingling with those in attendance.

Comcast was the official media sponsor of the Indianapolis Marathon, held October 9. The course begins on the grounds of Historic Fort Harrison and winds its way throughout the northwest corner of Marion County. there were a record number of registrants for this year's race.

On October 14, Comcast employees attended a fundraising dinner for Noble of Indiana, held at the Indianapolis Colts facility on the West Side.

Comcast partnered with WAV TV-53 the week of October 18 to produce a program featuring candidates for elected office. The program aired five times during the weekend prior to the November 2 election - three times on Comcast and twice on WAV TV.
