Community Involvement Report

Comcast produced testimonial spots to be used in the Greater Indianapolis Republican Finance Committee's "Class Reunion" fundraiser, held July 7 at the Roof Ballroom. Comcast also arranged for the event to be taped for future use.

Comcast arranged and hosted Cartoon Network's "Cartoon Cartoon" promotion held at various locations the week of July 5. The event culminated with a screening of original programming on July 10 at Eagle Creek Park. One lucky customer won a trip to Bora Bora, courtesy of Comcast and Cartoon Network.

Comcast was a television sponsor of Indiana Black Expo, airing spots promoting the event and featuring them on our Newsmakers program.

Comcast was an associate sponsor of the Symphony on the Prairie series, the weekend of July 16-17.

A Comcast representative and the media center coordinator of Washington Township Schools participated in C-SPAN focus groups July 29-30 in Washington D.C. C-SPAN was seeking feedback in their Campaign 2000 programming, and its usefulness to educators.
