Comcast was a media sponsor of the RCA Tennis Championships, held August 15-21 on the IUPUI campus.

Comcast hosted QVC's bus visit to Lafayette Square Mall on August 5. Comcast Customers who made QVC purchases over the last year were invited to the event, and given the opportunity to purchase commemorative Brickyard 400 memorabilia before it was made available to the public.

Comcast co-sponsored a premiere screening of the HBO Original Movie "The Dorothy Dandridge Story" August 19 at the Madame Walker Theatre. Comcast partnered with the local organization Center for Leadership Development at the screening.

The winner of Comcast's local talent search held two months ago in Greenwood appeared live on the Game Show Network's "Extreme Gong Show" August 24. Although he was not the grand prize winner, Indy's representative was not "gonged" and said he enjoyed his all-expenses paid trip to Los Angeles. |
