All programs on both channels are submitted by independent producers, are programmed on a weekly basis and are distinguished by tape numbers.  Programming on Local Community Interest Programming Channel 50 are mostly paid programs and do not receive additional runs unless specified by contract.

Community Events & Sponsorships

  • Comcast donated $5000 in cash and $10,000 in advertising support and production to the Benjamin Harrison YMCA.

  • Comcast donated $500 to Martin University as part of a Circle City Classic promotion with Black Entertainment Television (BET).  The check donation was broadcast nationwide during BET's halftime coverage of the game.

  • On October 3, 1997, Comcast hosted BET on-air personality Joe Clair's visit to North Central High School.  Mr. Clair addressed 50 minority honor students during a one-hour question and answer session.  Topics ranged from religion to gang violence.

  • On October 8, 1997, Comcast sponsored a Cable in the Classroom workshop, hosted by Nora Elementary School.  The event was attended by all 25 media specialists in the Washington Township Schools system, as well as several administrators,

  • On October 27, 1997, Comcast was the corporate sponsor of the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation's (MDF) Inaugural Comedy Awards Dinner.  Unlike the Muscular Dystrophy Association, MDF is locally based and focuses its efforts on helping families affected by Muscular Dystrophy, rather than finding a cure for the disease.
