  • Our March cable guide features our work with Electronics Technology students at the Walker Career Center in Warren Township as they build their own internal cable system for classrooms and other buildings.  We commend Warren Township for offering students a unique "hands on" approach  to learning while providing an economical solution to expanding media access for all of their students.

  • In late February, we have added a new program to our local programming line-up on Comcast Channel 50 in upgraded areas called Education Showcase.  This 1/2 hour program shown twice weekly on Sunday at 12:30 PM and Tuesday at 7:00 PM is designed for teachers and parents to preview educational programming provided for the month by the major cable networks.  It is also a great complement to the "Cable in the Classroom' magazine that we provide to area schools.  On April 1st, we will expand this show to Channel 41 in all other areas of Marion County as initial feedback has been very positive.

  • In the near future, Comcast will be utilizing various unused time slots on Public Access to provide up-to-date system upgrade information for older areas of Marion County.

  • In late February, we began a month long promotion of our on-time guarantee through the use of commercials inserted on our most popular cable networks as we want our customers to know that Comcast is "willing to put it's money where it's mouth is" when it comes to arriving on time for our service and installation appointments.  Since we have instituted our guarantee in February 1995, we have met our appointments over 95% of the time, even through the worst weather.

  • In conjunction with CIRRI, the Central Indiana Radio Reading Network, we are running a PSA designed to alert our print impaired customers of this free service we provide though our FM cable band.  We have had some response from this PSA, however, it is still early to tell the interest among our customers.
