Programming:

Produced or tagged 88 cross channel promotional spots including two spots for the Phoenix Theatre as part of our season sponsorship. TWC customers receive ticket discounts to theatre productions by showing a current cable billing.

Created two "Get-Out-the Vote" commercials in cooperation with the local chapter of the NAACP. The spots featured the Chapter's President and Vice-President urging citizens to exercise their right to vote in this year's November elections.

Ran a public service announcement featuring Indianapolis Mayor Bart Peterson promoting the use of seat belts for safety.
Education:

Educational Coordinator Karen Pierce orchestrated the C-SPAN School Bus visit to the Indian State Fair, the Time Warner Cable system office in Indianapolis, and to several schools in the metropolitan area. The C-SPAN School Bus was featured on the cover of the Channel Guide and schedules were coordinated with requests from the Indiana Cable Telecommunications Association so that maximum exposure could be given to the School Bus during its Indianapolis visit.

Karen Kennedy Pierce represented Time Warner Cable at the monthly Educational Television Cooperative meeting where work is being done on a five-year plan for effective and efficient use of the educational access channels provided in Indianapolis.

The 2000 Olympics "Visions of Glory" educational program provided by CNBC and MSNBC was sent to over 25 school systems in the Indianapolis area.
Community Affairs:

Coordinated a September Channel Guide cover shot promoting the Circle City Classic which raises scholarship money for traditionally, Black colleges. Time Warner Cable is a major sponsor of the weekend college football event the first week in October.

Coordinated the production sponsorship for Indianapolis Opera's October 13 performance of Porgy and Bess. A VIP reception will proceed the performance and all attendees will receive promotional coupons for our upcoming launch of digital and high speed Internet services.
