- Produced and aired commercial spot promoting our Sunday afternoon Jazz Event at the ArtsGarden featuring Cynthia Layne.
- Produced and aired three commercials for the Indianapolis Public Schools Foundation’s "Reading On Grade by the Third Grade" program.
- Continued airing our Project Peace commercials promoting the State Attorney General’s conflict resolution program for youth.
- Produced and aired spot for WNAP Radio’s Raft Race in which Time Warner was a sponsor.
- Phyllis Warman served as a judge for an IPS School #11 speech contest.
- Several members of the management group joined Al Aldridge at the Governor’s residence for the IPS Foundation Reading Recognition Awards program.
- Al Aldridge and Shary Hoffman-Meadows served as Masters of Ceremonies for the Urban League’s Ebony and Ivory Dinner honoring Indianapolis families and students.
- Sponsored the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at Fort Harrison.
- Al Aldridge and Shary Hoffman-Meadows represented Time Warner and Turner Broadcasting during the regional competition of the 1998 Goodwill Games hosted by the Wheeler Boys and Girls Club. Competitors from throughout the state participated in basketball, swimming and track and field events.
