Carried live coverage of five Indiana Pacers home games.

Promoted our "On-Time Cable Service Guarantees" on the advertising interconnect, our local origination channel, Cable 20, and on WAV-53 TV, plus its radio properties.

Of our more than 2000 scheduled service repair appointments, we issued $25 customer credits to 17 customers whose appointments we didn't make on time. Over 4000 installation appointments were scheduled, and 20 customers received $25 credits because we were late for the appointment.

Promoted National Library Month by running public service announcements on our advertising avails.

Featured a "Critical TV Viewing Skills Workshop" segment on our Local Origination Channel's 6:30 PM show to encourage parents to learn how to teach their children to be selective TV viewers.

Sponsored another monthly Jazz Concert at the ArtsGarden in cooperation with the Bravo Network.

Provided a cable connection at the Hollywood Bar & Filmworks for a Ronald McDonald's House fund-raising event.

Provided support for the local Red Cross Hall of Fame Dinner. Jay Satterfield is a member of the Red Cross Board of Directors.

Created and produced a video tape in support of the Center for Leadership Development's Annual Dinner to recognize outstanding minority achievers. Shary Hoffman-Meadows presented the "Excellence in Mass Media Award."

Met with NAACP President Rod Bohannan and developed a plan for cooperatively working with local HUD housing complexes to inform residents of the educational opportunities Cable in the Classroom programs provide for children. This could serve as a model that can be replicated nationally. |
