Public Affairs Monthly Report
June 1996

Provided corporate sponsorship of the Indianapolis Urban League Ebony & Ivory Dinner recognizing local families that, under adverse conditions, have exhibited strong family values and support for each other.

Provided support to several ethnic and cultural festivals as part of our continuing awareness campaign for Time Warner's "It's Us" exhibit. We had significant presence at the Russian and Slovenian festivals. In addition we were a major sponsor of the Inner Mongolian Dance and Theatre Troupe performance. As part of the sponsorship, American Cablevision hosted a private dinner for the Consul General of the People's Republic of China and approximately 30 local civic and business leaders.

Provided sponsorship for the June Jazz Concert at the Indianapolis ArtsGarden and also had representation at the Links Annual Dinner honoring prominent local jazz musicians. Our targeting of support for jazz is coupled with ongoing cooperative promotion with the Bravo Network.

Continued support of activities in conjunction with the Red Ribbon campaign to alleviate drug abuse by children.

Participated in Partners in Education programs with School #11, including the 5th grade graduation ceremony. |
