Public Affairs Monthly Report
November 1995

In cooperation with WAV-TV 53, we produced live coverage of the University of Indianapolis Basketball Tournament, November 17th and 18th.
-
Carried live coverage of the TV Food Network's "Let's Make Sure Everybody Eats" telethon and produced local insertions every hour featuring Gleaners Food Bank and the Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinner. All telethon monies raises from the Indianapolis area will be divided equally between the Mozel Sanders Organization and Gleaners.

Provided major sponsorship to the Leukemia Society's Diamond Ball to help ensure that the cure for leukemia is found by the year 2000.

Donated a space shuttle mock-up used by our Captain Cable mascot to the Tech High School ROTC.

Received the Indiana Cable Television Association's marketing award for a collaborative project we completed with American Movie Classics, The Edyvean Theatre, Conner Prairie and the Eiteljorg Museum. |
