Public Affairs Monthly Report
May 1995

Held a blood drive for the Central Indiana Regional Blood center.

Provided corporate support for the Links Roast.

Began planning 1995 Halloween Happening in conjunction with Hemophilia of Indiana. Event provides inner city children with a safe, inexpensive Halloween Celebration while raising funds for Hemophilia of Indiana.

Held planning meeting with organizers of the Circle City Classic to discuss national TV coverage of the CCC Parade.

Participated in a Career day at IPS School #98.

Organized a health fair at IPS School #11, or Partner School through the Indianapolis Chamber's Partner in Education Program.

Presented a mini-workshop on Critical Viewing Skills for the Parent/Teacher group at IPS School #31. Also met with the Great Lakes Cable Expo organizing committee to coordinate the presentation of a Critical Viewing Skills Workshop for teachers and superintendents at this fall's Great Lakes Expo. During that time, IPS's new school superintendent will host a similar workshop to be carried live on the cable system, with video tapes of the workshop being made available to local IPS schools.

Helped support the Hispanic Chamber's reception at the Children's Museum welcoming IPS's new school superintendent.

Various members of the ACI management team continued to serve on the board of directors of numerous non-profit organizations in the Indianapolis community.

Launched the Sega Channel which gives customers an inexpensive alternative to purchasing Sega games. Each month approximately 50 games are available 24 hours a day for unlimited playing for less than 1/4 the cost of one Sega Cartridge. |
