Coordinated plans with the Indianapolis Arts Council and the Bravo Cultural Network for the Grand Opening and on going support of activities of the Arts Garden. American Cablevision and Bravo will recognize an Indianapolis Arts Group with a Bravo National Arts for Change Awards at the Annual Start With Art Luncheon. Plans are also being made to feature local students in performances at the Arts Garden which will be video taped and carried on American Cablevision's Local Origination Channel, Cable Channel 20.
-

-
Provided a "Last Day of School Party" for students at our Partner in Education School, IPS #11.
-
American Cablevision "Caring Committee" employees are coordinating plans with the Indianapolis Clean City Committee to organize a clean-up, beautification project with other businesses along the Massachusetts Ave. corridor.
-
Assisted twenty 13-15 year olds on the Christian Park "White Sox" and "Reds" baseball teams in creating a diamond to "play ball" on. The two teams did not have a baseball diamond for the first few weeks of the season and, therefore, had to forfeit several "home" games. American Cablevision and it's lawn service - Foley's Landscaping - built a new ball field for the youngsters on property donated by IPS School #21. In return, each of the boys on the team has agreed to donate one hour of his time to helping a senior citizen in the neighborhood who needs assistance with yard work or grocery shopping. |
