City officials to hold town hall meetings in all nine townships to discuss Indianapolis Works
INDIANAPOLIS - City officials will be holding town hall meetings in all nine townships next week to discuss Indianapolis Works and answer citizens' questions about this proposal. Indianapolis Works will streamline and reduce the size of government, saving local property taxpayers $35 million every year.
Tuesday, April 5, 7-8 p.m.
* Franklin Township: Acton United Methodist Church, 5650 Senour Road
* Washington Township: Washington Township MSD Community & Education Center, Community Rooms C & D, 8550 Woodfield Crossing Boulevard
* Wayne Township: Haughville Library, 2121 W. Michigan Street
Wednesday, April 6, 7-8 p.m.
* Lawrence Township: Far Eastside Neighborhood Center, 8902 E. 38th Street
* Pike Township: Eagle's Hide-A-Way, Eagle Creek Park, 8901 W. 65th Street (from Raceway Road, turn east on 65th Street through the gated entrance to Eagle's Hide-A-Way)
* Warren Township: MSD Warren Township Education & Community Center, 975 N. Post Road
Thursday, April 7, 7-8 p.m.
* Center Township: Firefighters Union Hall, 748 Massachusetts Avenue
