Protecting Kids on the Internet
Prosecutor Brizzi backed legislation approved by the General Assembly that makes it easier for police to perform sting operations against sex offenders soliciting children on the Internet. A would-be sex offender who propositions an undercover police officer over the Internet can be prosecuted for child solicitation, because the sex offender believes the officer is a child.
